‘Fair play’ in water polo

This cartoon was made in the USSR in 1956 and is about a water polo match in which one team is trying to win a valuable prize – an automobile – using unfair tactics. But despite all the ‘dirty tricks’ by the opposition, a good and honest team win and get the reward. The story’s moral and lesson for young viewers: do not try to achieve your goals by being dishonest and cheeky.

As a young kid, I used to enjoy watching it. I still do. Hope you will too.
